The spirit of ambassador Wu Jianmin

Ambassador Wu Jianmin devoted his life to China's diplomatic cause, working hard to safeguard China's national interests. With a strong sense of responsibility, mission and professionalism, he made great contributions to promoting China's concept of peaceful development, facilitating communication between China and the world, improving the quality of the people and cultivating young students.

In order to carry forward Ambassador Wu's lifelong pursuit of peace and development for China and the world, as well as to fulfill his unfinished mission, Madame Shi Yanhua (Ambassador Wu’s wife) and Ambassador Wu's friends in conjunction with like-minded people from other social circles co-sponsored the Beijing-based Wu Jianmin Public Charity Foundation, which got registered on December 15, 2016 upon the approval of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Civil Affairs.

With a mission of helping the people in need, aiding the students and cultivating talents and enhancing social harmony, the Foundation will carry out and support the research, international exchange and public charity to increase the understanding between China and the world.
