Master of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Fan Zeng Inscribes a Motto for Wu Jianmin Foundation

On July 20, 2017, Chairman of the WJF Ambassador Shi Yanhua met with Lian Guanyi, office head of the PKU Academy of Chinese Painting Research, at the WJF office. Delegated by Fan Zeng, director of the Academy and master of Chinese painting and calligraphy, Lian transferred to Chairman Shi Yanhua Mr. Fan's inscription for the WJF, “love your motherland and love mankind.”

"Love your motherland and love mankind" is the belief that Ambassador Wu firmly upheld, and also his legacy for young Chinese people. According to Ambassador Wu, we must love our motherland as well as mankind, we must combine patriotism with internationalism, and we must learn to care about the overall destiny of mankind while safeguarding our national interests. Mr. Fan Zeng was deeply convinced by Ambassador Wu's philosophy that he specifically inscribed this motto for the Foundation and expected the WJF to be guided by the spirit of such universal fraternity in carrying on the wishes of Ambassador Wu and make more contributions for better communication between China and the world.
